Tim Fleming – CA(PP)
Tim is a Director of the firm with over 38 years experience in the industry and the CA environment. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Practitioner. Tim enjoys management advisory services, corporate structuring, valuation, litigation support and expert witness work. His wide variety of experience provides a solid base for understanding client issues and for providing advice. Tim has a passion for business and doing it well. Tim finds himself involved in coaching clients through change and enjoys the human aspects of the business environment.
David Metford – CA(PP) BCom (Hons)
David is a Director of the firm, he joined TFA in 2004 after spending 4 years in retail banking and 4 years at the coalface in a commercial accounting role. David has a passion for identifying optimal structures both for asset protection purposes and for financial efficiency. This passion extends to Family Trusts and how they can be used within new or existing structures. In addition to his holistic structuring skills, David is right up to date with the ever-changing tax legislation, in particular the Bright Line test and associated rollover relief provisions. David enjoys deep engagement in his client relationships and brings a broad range of experience and practical business acumen to the table.
Outside of work, David enjoys playing piano and uses his bike, local swimming pool, and local ParkRun to keep in shape.
Nicola Fleming – CA BBS Dip Prof Acctg
Nicola has been part of our team since 2009. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from Massey University. Nicola enjoys applying her excellent knowledge and experience in all aspects of accounting to find the best outcomes for clients. She also handles our workflow management to keep our ship sailing smoothly.
Outside of work she spends time with her family and enjoys anything crafty and watercolour painting when she can find the time.
Connie Siu-Kwan Yuen BCom Dip Commerce
Connie joined TFA in 2016. She has been working in accounting since graduating from university, preparing year end financials and GST returns for individuals and small business clients (including groups).
Connie is from Hong Kong and completed her high school and university in NZ. Connie can speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English fluently. Currently living in Canberra, Connie works remotely for us. Interests include baking and traveling. Connie loves to learn the culture and languages of other countries.
Tania Peters
Tania is our dedicated office administrator who brings warmth and efficiency to our workplace. With a background in early childhood teaching, Tania brings a nurturing spirit to everything she does and let’s not forget her love for coffee – because every great day starts with a cup of coffee.
Tania is a loving mother, cherishing every moment with her family & friends. You will often find her cooking, embracing the serenity of the beach with her furry companion, or seeking out thrilling adventures life has to offer on her journey of balancing work, family, and a passion for life’s simple joys.
Moose Fleming
Moose joined Tim Fleming Associates in 2022 as our meet and greet ambassador. Although he has no accountancy qualifications his time-keeping skills are legendary and he is always on time for walkies and treats. Unlike other team members, Moose is always readily available for cuddles, no appointment necessary.
